We are now picking both black and white figs every day. Lots of both varieties now available, very sweet and juicy. Large and small trays. Delicious!
We have just starting picking the white figs, black ones soon to follow. Should be plenty in the shop over next few weeks.
Blackberries have now finished for this season. A little earlier than last year but guessing that the heat was a bit tough on them over the past few weeks. But we did enjoy eating them and making blackberry pies!
Our roses have really suffered in the past few weeks of heatwave and are looking very sad so we have decided to cut then back so unfortunately there will be no more roses available for this season.
The first crop of figs have now finished and we will be all impatiently waiting for the main crop – this usually starts late February and goes though to early April. Will let you know when we start picking again!
